Service Elevator Guide
Everything you need to know about booking and using the service elevator in Business Bay towers for your move.
Service Elevator Bookings in Business Bay
In Business Bay towers, the service elevator is a separate lift — not the main passenger elevator — reserved for moving furniture, appliances and bulky items. You cannot simply use the main elevator on moving day. The service elevator must be booked in advance with building management.
Most towers require 3–7 days advance notice. Some towers, like Ubora Towers, require 7+ days. Missing this step means your movers may arrive and find the service elevator unavailable — causing delays and sometimes penalties from the building.
What You Need to Book the Service Elevator

Emirates ID
A copy of the tenant’s Emirates ID for building management records.
Move Date & Time
The specific date and requested time window for the elevator. Most buildings allocate 3–4 hour slots.
