Loading Bay Access in Business Bay

Most Business Bay towers have a designated loading bay — a separate vehicle entrance from the main lobby entrance — for moving trucks, delivery vehicles and contractors. This is where your moving truck will park and where furniture is moved in and out of the building.

Loading bay access in most Business Bay towers must be pre-approved. You cannot simply arrive with a moving truck and expect to use the loading bay. Building security will ask for a move permit or a vehicle pre-registration reference before granting access.

What We Coordinate for Your Move

🚛

Vehicle Pre-Registration

We register our truck with building security in advance, providing vehicle details and move date. This ensures the gate is open for us on the day.

Loading Bay Time Slot

We book a time slot for loading bay use — most buildings limit truck access to 3–4 hour windows to manage shared usage.

📋

Move Permit

We obtain the move permit from building management — this authorises the move and is presented to security on the day.

Move Time Restrictions

Many Business Bay towers restrict moving to specific hours — typically early morning on weekdays (often 8am–12pm or 9am–1pm) and sometimes specific weekend hours. Evening and late-night moves are generally not permitted. When we confirm your move, we will advise the exact time window available for your specific building.

💡 Plan Ahead: If your building has a limited moving window that conflicts with your schedule, tell us early. We can sometimes arrange alternative slots or confirm what flexibility the building management offers.
