The Move
The team arrives at the agreed time with all equipment. Permits are presented at both buildings. The move proceeds according to the planned schedule.
What to Expect on Moving Day
Business Bay moves typically start early morning — most towers restrict moves to specific hours. Your moving crew will arrive with the truck, packing materials and all tools needed. They present the move permit to building security, access the loading bay, and use the pre-booked service elevator.
Furniture is wrapped before going into the elevator and unloaded at the new address. If furniture needs dismantling to fit in the elevator, it is reassembled at the new apartment. The move finishes when all items are in place and you have confirmed everything is present.
Common Issues to Avoid
No Elevator Booking
Arriving without a service elevator booking is the most common cause of delayed or cancelled moves in Business Bay. Book at least 3 days ahead — 7 days for towers like Ubora.
Missing Move Permit
Building security will not allow furniture to move through the lobby without a valid permit. Get your permit before moving day — not on the day.
Month-End Timing
The last few days of the month are the busiest in Dubai. Elevator slots and loading bays are harder to secure. Book early if you must move at month-end.
